In this post, we will take a look at the Indian manufacturing sector and see how technology is essential, how much education is required, and what steps are necessary to adopt new technologies. In order to avoid obstacles that can slow down the organisation’s progress, it is crucial to determine what is driving change before introducing new technology. Finding a way to assess the factors that push smart supply chain adoption in a way that undermines supply chain goals is the primary goal of this research. Based on expert opinion, the list of collected drivers to deploy smart supply chain is improved and shortlisted. Sustainability, management, action, regulation, and technology (SMART) are five of these types. This classification is carried out according to the replies obtained through the Delphi method. The most influential drivers on each category were determined via a questionnaire. Supply chain technology adoption can be targeted using the analytical hierarchy process model, which identifies SMART drivers. Finding drivers and ranking them is the first step in this task. The second is choosing important indicators. Based on the ranking of these drivers, a framework is created to assist the Indian manufacturing sectors in incorporating new technology into their supply chain operations while taking precautions. Industrial policymakers, policy planners, and strategic managers can uncover challenges to implementing sustainable supply chain management (SSCM) by analyzing drivers and bottlenecks. In order to assess the most pressing problems with the supply chain in Indian companies, this study found that the suggested approach worked better.</p>
