Behandlung lokaler Knorpeldefekte durch Mini-Implantate
摘要
Biological cartilage repair procedures partially show high failure rates and are sometimes associated with poor results, particularly in the case of negative contextual factors, such as age or previous cartilage surgery. Partial prostheses (mini-implants), which are intended to fill the defect locally and simultaneously treat the bone and cartilage defect, can be a good alternative. The correction of axial deviation or malalignment is a basic prerequisite for successful treatment. Treatment algorithms can help in the decision-making process.
