摘要

The reconstruction of the rotator cuff with good clinical results and successful tendon healing represents a challenge, especially in patients with poorer biological prerequisites. The bioinductive tendon augmentation of the construct could have a positive influence on tendon healing, especially in this patient population; however, the insufficient clinical data situation in this respect and the currently unsatisfactory reimbursement situation limit the widespread use of the implant to selected cases.
