Rekonstruktion des sMCL zur operativen Behandlung der anteromedialen Instabilität des Kniegelenks
摘要
Ruptures of the anterior cruciate ligament are often associated with concomitant injuries to the medial capsule-ligamentous complex. An anteromedial rotational instability may result, leading to increased anterior translation of the medial tibial plateau. Biomechanical studies have shown that the sMCL and dMCL, in particular, play a significant role in the anteromedial rotational instability. In such cases, isolated treatment of the central pillar seems insufficient. Therefore, additional stabilization of the medial capsule-ligamentous complex should be considered to prevent, among other things, early graft failure. In the present case, anteromedial rotational instability was treated with a minimally invasive single-strand reconstruction of the sMCL. The patient showed a satisfactory outcome both in the knee scores and clinical examination at the one-year follow-up.
