<p>Preventive care to safeguard women’s health is a&#xa0;core task of gynecologic practices. Immunization is among the most effective and widely applicable preventive interventions. This article provides a&#xa0;detailed overview of the current vaccination recommendations of the German Standing Committee on Vaccination (STIKO) at the Robert Koch Institute and translates them into practical guidance for gynecologic practice. Indication-based vaccinations for different patient groups are outlined, and all available vaccines are presented in relation to their respective vaccine-preventable diseases. To facilitate implementation in daily routine, the key STIKO recommendations are summarized in concise tables and practical take-home messages. Gynecologic practices carry a&#xa0;particular responsibility to ensure that their patients receive optimal vaccination coverage across all stages of life and to act as role models for evidence-based vaccination counseling.</p>
