摘要

The medical treatment of patients with hereditary cancer syndromes is a complex task involving both care of the affected person and support of their relatives. Gynecologic heredity cancer syndromes include hereditary forms of breast, ovarian, and uterine cancer. The currently known gynecologically relevant genetic predispositions are of prognostic, predictive, and preventive importance. Risk prediction is relevant for all healthy and sick persons with a positive family history—both in those with and in those without a confirmed pathogenic/probably pathogenic variant of a risk gene. This prediction serves as the basis for possible preventive options.
