<p>Ecological sustainability in gynecological and obstetric care is becoming increasingly more important. This article highlights the associations between climate change and women’s health, identifies key areas for action in both practice and clinical settings and presents strategies for implementing sustainable healthcare aspects. Particular emphasis is placed on the role of medical counselling as a&#xa0;key factor in achieving more sustainable healthcare.</p>
