<p>G‑2G-2The new molecular pathology-based classification of endometrial cancer is also relevant for the recommendations on postoperative, adjuvant therapy. This is taken into account in the currently valid revision of the S3&#xa0;guidelines for the treatment of endometrial cancer. The main treatment options available are percutaneous radiotherapy, vaginal brachytherapy and adjuvant chemotherapy. In particular, the three large recently published studies PORTEC‑3, GOG 249 and GOG 258 have provided further data for classification. Nevertheless, in many cases it is still not possible to identify an absolutely valid gold standard, so that individual considerations often have to be made, which is sometimes a&#xa0;decision dilemma. Future new possibilities arise from the encouraging results that have been shown in the integration of immunotherapies into treatment concepts. This article provides an overview of the current recommendation status, based on the current S3&#xa0;guidelines.</p>
