Nachhaltigkeit in der Klinik – Was können wir tun?
摘要
Climate change is an issue for health and medicine. At the same time, the healthcare sector is also responsible for a relevant proportion of CO2 emissions of a society. On the one hand, the diverse effects of climate change influence health and our everyday medical lives. On the other hand, we can all help to use resources more sustainably and raise awareness of climate change as one of the most important challenges of our time in our dealings with colleagues and patients. Doctors can set a good example and practice sustainability in their everyday work. This article is intended to illustrate the necessity to take sustainability into account in everyday professional life in hospitals and to provide specific examples of structural and personal approaches to achieving climate targets with climate neutrality by 2035.
