Prävention und Vorsorge in der Diabetesbehandlung
摘要
In diabetology prevention has been firmly anchored in pretreatment and research for decades. Prevention of diabetes is effectively possible in the prediabetes stage by lifestyle measures, the latter can also avoid the numerous microvascular and macrovascular sequelae of diabetes. High-risk constellations of prediabetes were identified and specific interventions (precision prevention) were developed for them, which aim for a restitution to the stage of a normal glucose metabolism. To promote the implementation of an effective primary intervention the German Alliance for Noncommunicable Diseases (DANK) was founded in 2010 on the initiative of the German Diabetes Society (DDG). Currently, the scientific alliance now includes 24 medical specialist societies and organizations. Since then, the DANK has introduced four key requirements and numerous initiatives into the healthcare political discussion. Ultimately, digital solutions are important for the prevention of diabetes and its sequelae. These include systems, such as an electronic diabetes file (eDA) and the continuous documentation of metabolic parameters, as already established for subcutaneous glucose measurement.
