Background <p>Incidence of keratinocyte skin cancer has been continuously rising in recent decades. At the same time, the number of occupational skin cancers has also increased. Treatment depends on clinical manifestation, extent of actinic keratosis, field cancerization and, in case of squamous cell carcinoma, on the tumor stage.</p> Objectives <p>This work aims to enhance the understanding of the challenges associated with the treatment of occupational skin cancer.</p> Materials and methods <p>This article is based on a&#xa0;review of the literature.</p> Results <p>Different therapeutic options for the treatment of occupational skin cancer are presented and discussed.</p> Conclusion <p>The need to treat occupational skin cancer is expected to increase in the future. An increasing number of modern therapeutic options will enable adequate patient care.</p>

Background

Incidence of keratinocyte skin cancer has been continuously rising in recent decades. At the same time, the number of occupational skin cancers has also increased. Objectives

This work aims to enhance the understanding of the challenges associated with the treatment of occupational skin cancer.

This article is based on a review of the literature.

Results
