Topische Anwendung von Allopurinol bei Tattoo-Granulomen
摘要
Complications of tattooing occur in 2% of cases and include foreign body granulomas, for which treatment options are limited and often ineffective. Allopurinol, a xanthine oxidase inhibitor, is used to treat granulomatous reactions, but often leads to systemic side effects. Two recent case reports have described topical application as better tolerated. Herein, we report a patient who developed a granulomatous reaction to permanent eyebrow make-up, for which topical allopurinol achieved a satisfactory result.
