<p>A&#xa0;60-year-old man presented with refractory granuloma faciale. After unsuccessful treatment with dapsone, hydroxychloroquine, and radiotherapy, treatment with intralesional rituximab was initiated. This led to a&#xa0;steady improvement in the lesions without serious side effects. The case shows that rituximab can be a&#xa0;treatment option for refractory cases of granuloma faciale, especially in the context of IgG&#xa0;4-related autoimmune disease.</p>

摘要

A 60-year-old man presented with refractory granuloma faciale. After unsuccessful treatment with dapsone, hydroxychloroquine, and radiotherapy, treatment with intralesional rituximab was initiated. This led to a steady improvement in the lesions without serious side effects. The case shows that rituximab can be a treatment option for refractory cases of granuloma faciale, especially in the context of IgG 4-related autoimmune disease.
