Neue S2k-Leitlinie zur Hidradenitis suppurativa
摘要
Hidradenitis suppurativa (HS) is a chronic inflammatory skin disease that causes painful abscesses and fistulas primarily in intertriginous areas. The new 2024 S2k guideline provides a comprehensive understanding of its pathogenesis and corresponding new treatment options. This highly psychologically and socioeconomically burdensome disease, which primarily affects young adults, presents a significant therapeutic challenge. Treatment depends on the stage and activity of the disease. Topical, physical, and multimodal systemic therapies in combination with surgical procedures should be used. The long-term goal is adequate control of inflammation to prevent disease progression.
