Probleme von Kindern und Jugendlichen nach Operationen bei anorektalen Fehlbildungen
摘要
The successful treatment of children with anorectal malformation depends, on the one hand, on the type of congenital malformation, the presence of the pelvic floor muscles and the function of the sphincter apparatus, additional concomitant malformations and the precisely performed corrective surgery, as well as on the follow-up care of the patients, who require adequate specialized therapy and follow-up care right from the start, adjusted to the severity of the disease.
AimThe aim of this investigation is to demonstrate current treatment options for follow-up problems in patients with anorectal malformation in order to be able to intervene decisively and thus achieve a better quality of life for the patients.
ResultsThe various treatment strategies of conservative and surgical therapeutic approaches, interventions, reoperation, stoma creation are described in order to determine the best possible treatment option for the corresponding type of malformation.
ConclusionEarly diagnosis and a stepwise treatment approach are essential for managing the wide spectrum of anorectal malformations. This is especially important for patients with severe forms, weak sphincter and pelvic floor muscles and a poor prognosis. Individualized interdisciplinary therapy concepts can help achieve the best possible social continence.
