摘要

This text looks at the author’s clinical experience with the point pairs of Prof. Wang Juyi, especially with regard to the regulation of the functions of the Greater Yin (taiyin) and Lesser Yang (shaoyang) and their therapeutic significance. The primary concern is a restoration of the qi-transformation of the respective layer or channel, in contrast to the predominantly—symptomatic—treatment of a pathological constellation, e.g. of heat (calor, re) or dampness (humor, shi) Indeed, simple acupuncture-point combinations such as P5/Lu5 (Cubit Marsh, chize) with SP9/Mi9 (Yin Mound Spring, yinlingquan) or TB5/TE5 (Outer Pass, waiguan) with F41/Gb41 (Foot Overlooking Tears, zulinqi) are particularly suitable for this purpose. They provide very good clinical efficiency over a broad range of illnesses which can be further improved by the synergy effects of acupuncture-point combinations.
