<p>The author describes the treatment of recurrent hordeola with Chinese herbal therapy. She begins by discussing possible symptom configurations for both acute infections and recurrent courses according to Chinese medicine, and gives prescriptions as treatment recommendations in each case.</p><p>In addition, she describes her experience from her ophthalmological practice and gives suggestions for complementary treatment with Western phytotherapeutics.</p><p>Finally, she describes a&#xa0;case study of a&#xa0;patient who had been suffering from hordeola for many months. With the prescribed medicines, the author was able to achieve a&#xa0;complete recovery and also improve the patient’s general condition.</p>

The author describes the treatment of recurrent hordeola with Chinese herbal therapy. She begins by discussing possible symptom configurations for both acute infections and recurrent courses according to Chinese medicine, and gives prescriptions as treatment recommendations in each case.

In addition, she describes her experience from her ophthalmological practice and gives suggestions for complementary treatment with Western phytotherapeutics.
