<p>We compute equivariant fundamental classes of orbit closures in arbitrary <InlineEquation ID="IEq4"> <EquationSource Format="TEX">\(\operatorname {GL}(2)\)</EquationSource> <EquationSource Format="MATHML"><math> <mrow> <mo>GL</mo> <mo stretchy="false">(</mo> <mn>2</mn> <mo stretchy="false">)</mo> </mrow> </math></EquationSource> </InlineEquation>-representations. As applications, we find degrees of the orbit closures corresponding to elliptic fibrations and self-maps of the projective line.</p>

摘要

We compute equivariant fundamental classes of orbit closures in arbitrary \(\operatorname {GL}(2)\) GL ( 2 ) -representations. As applications, we find degrees of the orbit closures corresponding to elliptic fibrations and self-maps of the projective line.
