<p>Thermal couplings are widely used to stabilize evolution models. Their influence on the asymptotic behavior of two thermo-viscoelastic beam systems is investigated. The mathematical models are deduced, and their stability properties are analyzed through a resolvent analysis. Our results indicate that, despite the similarities, the systems exhibit different asymptotic behaviors.</p>
