<p>In this paper, we study some properties of an almost Hermitian metallic manifold, which is an almost Hermitian manifold endowed with an almost complex metallic structure associated to the almost complex structure. We define the slant and the pointwise slant submanifolds of an almost Hermitian metallic manifold, we prove that an isometrically immersed submanifold in an almost Hermitian manifold is a slant (or a pointwise slant) submanifold if and only if it is a slant (or a pointwise slant) submanifold in the associated almost Hermitian metallic manifold, and we determine the relation between the two slant (or pointwise slant) angles. Some examples of almost complex metallic structures and of slant and pointwise slant submanifolds in almost Hermitian metallic manifolds are also presented.</p>
